bloggy love
07/17/07I had my first crush back in Prep. His name was Rhodon. I'm not too sure about the letter 'H' on his name. He had pecan blond hair, which was as soft as Billy Joe's Beatle-inspired coiffure, and the brownest irises I've ever laid eyes on. I still have the picture of us together on our Christmas presentation. I was holding the letter T and he was beside me barely hanging onto his letter M. He was soo cute. That's all I remember of him actually. No last name. No conversation. Nothing. That's the only memory I have of my first puppy love. And what a sweet one it is. (*^___^*)
Maybe that's what differentiates puppy love from our other relationships as we grow older. It has no complications and dire consequences, just pure bliss and innocence. We were simply following our hearts. No questions and expectations; and no sexual tension either. Heh~
Before I began writing about my life, I was a silent reader of a few blogs. As months passed, I was eventually immersed to countless more blogs. Even a fan to some. I don't know if this weirdness is exclusive to yours truly, but I've fallen in bloggy love with some of those that I read. I may not know any of the authors/writers personally but I have this yearning, for lack of a better word, to always be updated with their recent posts.
It may have been, among other things, their writing that attracted me and keeps me coming back for more. Some, like Kimmy, I have this unexplained affinity.

Kimmy (http://goddessofthenightsky.wordpress.com/) I know she's moved to wordpress and all. But like I said, I really have this weird connection with her. I'm amazed that we're alike in so many ways. Weird talaga. And I just realized that she was the first to comment on this blog. She's also the first one to tag me. Imma post my answers soon Kimmy. And yeah, maybe we can meet up when I'm back there. (^o^)/
Wake T-Rex (http://waketrex.i.ph/) So I know nothing about him? her? Wake T-Rex. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung lalaki or babae ba siya. Basta alam ko lang, siya si Wake… Wake T-Rex. \(^-^)/ Although Wake (I'm keeping the nick) was my first i.ph bloggy love, I stumbled upon this blog on Pinoyblog (I think I was searching for Pinoy headline images then); and it wasn't until some time when I realized that we were actually neighbors on i.ph. I can be really slow at times.
I truly admire Wake for the time and energy na dine-devote niya to post about the Philippines. (It's torture to not use pronouns you know.) I can only aspire to have a similar blog, yet I keep telling myself that I love the Philippines more than the next person. I mean seriously, do you go on the net to read and re-search about our country's socio-political status on a daily basis? On a weekly basis perhaps? I don't even watch the news because it brings me down. So this blog is really informative for me. I've learned a lot from Wake. I only wish to know of a personal blog, if there is one. Sorta like, the person behind the genius. Hehehe. The real Wake. So I would know the proper pronoun to use and have a nick other than Wake.
Torres-C (http://torresclaren.i.ph/) Imma let you in on a little secret. But you have to promise not to tell a soul. Alrightie? This here is my bloggy crush. *blush* Check out his blog to find out why. I've been lurking on his blog long before… I can't remember. And you can only imagine my delight when he posted on my tagboard. HA! Fangirling moment ito. I should probably stop making a fool of myself and end it at that.

Wits (http://witssuzara.i.ph/) A black and orange blog. I love orange! ♥ And who wouldn't want to rub elbows with a Superstar? He had me at his tagline, because I wasn't enjoying my reality at that time. I guess I was wishing to be exiled myself. I've enjoyed reading his witty posts since. We also both grew up watching super sentai series.
